Vesterinen Yhtyeineen will celebrate their 20-year career with a charity concert at The Train Factory. Proceeds from the concert will be donated to MIELI ry to support mental health work for young people.
Saturday 29 August – 20th Anniversary Concert

On Saturday, Vesterinen Yhtyeineen will celebrate their 20-year career with a special anniversary concert featuring an 18-piece ensemble. The evening will include music from the new Liian hiljaista album alongside songs from throughout the band’s career, familiar favourites and special surprises. The Train Factory is easily accessible on foot, by bicycle and by public transport. We recommend arriving by public transport, as parking in the surrounding area is limited.
Public transport options include:
- Trams 3 (stop Linnanmäki) and 9 (stop Kotkankatu).
- Bussit Buses 59 (stop Pasilan Konepaja) and 510 (stop Sturenkatu).
- Pasila railway station approximately 1 km / 10 minutes on foot
- Sörnäinen metro station approximately 1.3 km / 15 minutes on foot

Food & drinks
Concert guests can enjoy the wide selection of food and drinks available at The Train Factory’s Market Hall before the concert and during the event. Vegetarian and non-alcoholic options are also available.
The entire event area operates as a licensed alcohol serving area.
Good to know
The concerts will take place outdoors, so please dress according to the weather. Umbrellas are not permitted inside the event area,so we recommend bringing a raincoat or other suitable rainwear if needed.
The event area includes toilets, an accessible viewing platform, first aid and other event services. The audience area is primarily standing, although a limited number of seats will also be available.
