- Quick lunch: at many of the food-court and street-food counters you'll have a dish in hand within minutes. Perfect in the middle of a workday or a train change in Pasila.
- Dinner before going out: eat at your own pace before a gig, a film or an evening event.
- For a big group: the wide selection and the option to order dishes from different counters make an excellent setting for larger groups to eat, with no compromises.
- A relaxed evening out: delicious food combined with the area's bars, terraces, live music and a stylish atmosphere makes for a great evening.
- A rainy day: everything here is indoors under one roof, so the weather doesn't matter.
Why eat at the Train Factory?
With its restaurants, the Train Factory adds its own world of flavours to the urban culture of Vallila and Pasila. The selection ranges right across the board, from fiery Asian flavours to Mediterranean classics, so there's something to please everyone whatever their food preferences. The spacious setting, relaxed atmosphere and historic surroundings suit families, groups of friends and work teams alike, and alongside the food the building is home to bars, a cinema, an art gallery and sports services, so an evening easily becomes more than just a meal.
Market Hall brings Vallila's restaurants together in one place
Most of the restaurants are found in the Market Hall, the Train Factory's food hall. A food hall is a collection of restaurants gathered together, where you can freely choose your dish from whichever counter you like, from a range of options. Lunch, small treats, dinner and a glass of something are all within easy reach. The Market Hall Stage brings live music, sports broadcasts and pop-up events to the hall, so a meal can turn into a longer evening. You can see the opening hours and the full line-up on the Market Hall page..
